About us
Located in the heart of the Cotswold Water Park between Swindon and Cirencester.
The Cotswold Range opened in 2016 and offers instructed Archery, Air Rifles & Crossbow.
We use 10 metre shooting lanes which are built with beginners in mind, providing you with the perfect introduction to these sports. If you do have experience we guarantee that you won't have tried our games before and we can match our games to a wide range of abilities.
Every lesson is exclusive for your group and we pride ourselves on tuition whilst having lot's of fun!

Archery
Archery lessons at The Cotswold Range are run by our Archery GB qualified instructors.
We specialise in teaching Archery to beginners of all ages starting from Age 8 +.
Don't worry if you haven't done it before as that is exactly what our instructors are there for. We have seen everything!
The lesson starts with an eye dominance test, measuring to find your exact bow size and then a demo from the instructor. As soon as we have sighted you in to the target...

Crossbow
Crossbow lessons at The Cotswold Range are run by our NSRA qualified instructors.
We specialise in teaching Crossbow shooting to beginners of all ages from Age 14 +.
Quite a physical activity, it can take some pulling to draw the crossbow and then have the composure to stay still in a standing position. Kids generally struggle so please select carefully as due to Covid measure the instructor can't assist with loading..
Lessons start with eye dominance test and instructor demo then it is your turn on our 40lb draw weight laser sighted crossbows! Once sighted in...

This is usually the activity that no one has ever done before but even so we have some fun games to make your experience even better.
A few to mention:
Darts- Round the Clock, Closest to Bull, Battleships, Bingo and the hall of fame Challenge- The Hole in One!
Air Rifles
Air Rifle lessons at The Cotswold Range are run by our NSRA qualified instructors.
We specialise in teaching Air Rifle shooting to beginners of all ages starting from Age 8 +.
If you want a level playing field between kids and adults this is the one for you!
Our Rifle range has 6 shooting lanes at a set distance of 10 meters.
The lesson starts with eye dominance tests and a demo then it's over to you with our lovely Weihrauch scoped rifles. We sight you in on a 10 ring target then...
its all about the games!
You may have shot Air Rifles before but you won't have tried our custom printed targets!
A few to mention:
10 Ring Groups, Battleships, Dot to Dot, Olympic Challenge, Plinking Zone, Animal Targets and the range favourite- The Pistol Maze!
Prices
Each activity has 6 shooting lanes and everyone will be shooting at the same time throughout the exclusive lesson.
For group sizes of 7-12 you will need to book another activity and run it at the same time or consecutively.
